Karbochem Holdings (Pty) Ltd is the holding company of Karbochem (Pty) Ltd, The Synthetic Latex Co (Pty) Ltd and Orchem (Pty) Ltd.

Karbochem (Pty) Ltd is privately owned and managed by its shareholder/directors. The total personnel complement is 340. The present company is the result of a management buy-out from Dow Chemical Company effective 1st April 2003. The company origin dates back to 1964.

The Synthetic Latex Co (Pty) Ltd was formerly a joint venture with Revertex S.A. (Yule Catto/Synthomer).  It is now a 100% subsidiary of Karbochem Holdings (Pty) Ltd. 

Orchem (Pty) Ltd manufactures and trades chemicals for the Rubber and other industries.
